These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website gpsandareameasure.com ("the Site") and the Field Maps with Area Measure mobile application ("the App"), together "the Service". By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service
The App lets you measure land area, perimeter, and distance on a map, save and organize measurements, collaborate through Workspaces, and export or share your data. The Site provides information about the App. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Licence to use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as permitted by law.
3. Accounts and Workspaces
You can use core measuring features without an account. Some features (such as cloud Workspaces) require you to sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to your Workspaces and the access (owner, editor, viewer) you grant them. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions and payments
The App is free to download and may offer optional paid subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID, subject to Apple's terms. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in line with the App Store's policies.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the measurements, notes, photos, and other content you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and the members you share it with (for example, to sync a Workspace or display a public share link you create). You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to capture, upload, and share it — including any land, property, or imagery it depicts.
6. Public share links
If you create a public share link, the shared measurement becomes accessible to anyone who has the link, without sign-in, until you delete it. Do not publish content you are not permitted to share.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and only on land you are permitted to access. You must not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use it to violate the rights or privacy of others.
8. Measurement accuracy
The Service provides estimates of area, perimeter, and distance. Accuracy depends on GPS signal, device hardware, map data, and how carefully a boundary is traced. The App is not a certified surveying instrument and must not be used as the sole basis for legal, boundary, property, financial, or safety decisions. Always verify critical measurements by professional survey.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by ITPM Group or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (including Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, and Google Firebase) and may display map data from third-party providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their parts of the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ITPM Group will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the Service's measurements or from loss of data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which ITPM Group is established. Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
